After the cancellation of the Berlin Recycling Volleys game, the VfB Friedrichshafen game in the Volleyball Champions League scheduled for Wednesday is also cancelled.
The game against the Bulgarian representative Hebar Pazardzhik is considered a 3-0 win for the German record champions. According to a VfB announcement, the Bulgarians had decided not to travel to Germany because there would have been a three-day quarantine after returning to their home country. As a result, Hebar Pazardzhik would have missed the final tournament for the Bulgarian Cup.
The search for an alternative date was difficult due to “the tight schedule of the two teams,” the statement said. Friedrichshafen is second in Group A with two games left.
