Today the Miami Heat officially celebrate the renewal of Victor Oladipo for 18 million dollars in two years. To do this, he and Pat Riley have spoken to the media about the plans that the franchise and player have in the short term. In the past playoffs, Dipo left flashes, especially defensive, that reminded him of the star he once was. But making use of his boundless confidence, the player has declared believe “sincerely that I can be better than I was.”
However, the escort knows that this is not an easy path. This course he has played only 8 regular league games and 15 playoff games after recovering from a new knee operation. Miami has not hesitated to place his trust in him, and it is not a franchise that gives him compliments. “Victor has shown his work ethic by coming back and helping us win games. We are delighted with his return »says Riley.
Oladipo prefers to go slowly when it comes to setting goals. “Right now my goal is to show that I’m healthy and can play the full season.” Since his injury in 2019, the player has only played 60 games in three seasons. In which he has been far from holding a similar version to his All-Star days. Now, just 30 years old, Oladipo still believes that his prime is yet to come.
