Coach Jürgen Klopp can look forward to a new player at Liverpool FC: The Reds have signed Colombian international Luis Díaz from FC Porto.
The 25-year-old winger has signed a “long-term” contract, Liverpool said.
The clubs did not provide any information about the transfer modalities, according to media reports the sum should be up to 60 million euros depending on bonus payments.
“I’m very happy that we were able to bring this signing through and bring Luis to Liverpool,” said Klopp. “He’s very hungry for success and knows that to achieve something you have to fight. He’s a fighter and a very gifted team player.”
Díaz had scored 41 goals in 125 games for Porto.
