Brazil national soccer player Richarlison is moving from Everton FC to Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur. Both clubs have now announced this.
The 25-year-old, whose full name is Richarlison de Andrade, has signed a five-year contract in London until the summer of 2027. According to information from British media, Spurs could pay up to 60 million pounds (approx. 70 million euros) for the Brazilian.
Richarlison has been playing in England for five years. He came to Watford FC from Fluminense Rio de Janeiro in 2017. A year later he moved to Everton.
In a total of 173 Premier League games for both clubs, he scored 48 goals. Last season (10 goals/5 assists) he narrowly avoided relegation with Everton.
As part of a major transfer offensive this summer, Tottenham had already signed former Bundesliga pro Ivan Perisic (Inter Milan), midfielder Yves Bissouma (Brighton & Hove Albion) and goalkeeper Fraser Forster (FC Southampton).
