The Raptors have quickly wrapped up Chris Boucher, who is extending his stay in Toronto with a three-year, $35.2 million contract; reports Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
The 29-year-old center receives this important agreement after a season in which he was inconsistent at times, ending up averaging 9.4 points and 6.2 rebounds in 21.1 minutes per night. In any case, the Canadians show with this agreement the confidence in a player that they believe can help them to continue taking steps forward.
Together with the movement to certify the permanence of Boucher, the Canadian organization has also closed a deal with Thaddeus Young, who will continue under Nick Nurse for two years in exchange for 16 million dollars.
