Last Friday Kevin Durant left the NBA world in shock asking for his departure from the Brooklyn Nets. This prompted more than half the league to ask about the superstar and restarted the Kyrie Irving exit operation. But things in the palace go slowly and three days later Adrian Wojnarowski advance in ESPN that there are no advanced conversations for the transfer of either of them.
In the case of KD, the Nets have already leaked that they expect to receive a historic trade for their best player, which involves intricate negotiations that can drag on for weeks. The journalist’s words suggest that Brooklyn has not yet received a single offer that comes close to its claims.
On the other hand, the Los Angeles Lakers remain Irving’s main pursuer, but they haven’t been aggressive in their offer yet. There has been talk for days of a trade that could include Russell Westbrook, Talen Horton-Tucker and future draft picks. But the reality that Woj shares is that this is not yet on the table. In principle, the priority of the Nets was to solve the Durant thing, but at the moment it is Kyrie with whom the most advanced conversations are.
