The Nets will not listen to offers for Harden in this market close

Despite the fact that recent rumors indicated that James Harden could be somewhat frustrated with his situation in the Nets and that several franchises were interested in him, no movements are expected in this regard at this market close. According to Adrian Wojnarowski, a journalist from ESPN, those from Brooklyn will not listen to offers for the escort, because he has made clear his commitment to the franchise and his desire to win in it.

In addition, from the offices they are convinced that, under normal conditions, the trio formed by Harden himself, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving is practically unstoppable, and they are not willing to give up this union of superstars easily. Woj also says that New Yorkers are hoping that Durant’s return will help the roster show its true potential in the final months of the regular season, which will help restore normalcy, defuse frustrations and dispel rumors.

Harden could be a free agent in the summer, although he will have a player option of no less than a tempting 47 million dollars. Furthermore, according to Bobby Marks, also from ESPN, the teams that will have salary space for this next off-season are not the most tempting (Pistons, Magic and Spurs), so, whether to stay in Brooklyn or to leave via sign & trade, everything seems to indicate that the escort will accept this option.

In case of leaving through a transfer, the 76ers seem like one of the main contenders, and in fact those from Philadelphia have already made their interest known and could even make offers these weeks. However, nothing suggests that Brooklyn will change their minds, so it would be a huge surprise if they did not finish the course with their current Big 3.
