The Grizzlies sign Kennedy Chandler to a 4-year, $7.1 million deal

The Memphis Grizzlies have signed the rookie second-round pick Kennedy Chandler for a 4-year, $7.1 million contract, of which $4.9 million will be guaranteed, the media reported. The Athletic.

Chandler, raised in Tennessee, averaged in his only college year figures of 13.9 points, 3.2 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 2.2 steals in 30.8 minutes per day.

With said 4.9 million dollars, he becomes the second-round player born in the United States with the highest amount of money guaranteed in his first NBA contract.
