The German Hockey Federation needs a new sports director. As the association announced on Tuesday, Christoph Menke-Salz will leave the DHB at his own request on October 1st to devote himself to “a new task in sport”.
The 113-time national player took over the post at the beginning of last year. According to the association, the position that has become vacant is to be re-advertised “soon”.
“We would like to thank Christoph for moving a lot in these challenging times to move the DHB and hockey in general in Germany and internationally,” said DHB President Carola Morgenstern-Meyer.
Menke-Salz has “created structures from which his successor will benefit”.
