This Thursday the NBA market closes and much of the attention is focused on what can finally happen in Philadelphia. Last Friday, the middle The Athletic reported that the 76ers and Nets will negotiate a transfer involving Ben Simmons and James Harden, although it is a real unknown if this will materialize in the coming days.
Much has been rumored about commercial packages by Daryl Morey that would include Seth Curry, Matisse Thybulle or Danny Green. Of course, from the Philly offices they have made it clear that Tyrese Maxey will not be part of any negotiation, either as a bargaining chip for Harden or due to the potential interest of any other franchise, as reported by the media TheRinger.
The 76ers are willing to put several of their assets on the table to improve the roster but confidence in Maxey’s future potential is complete. The guard was selected in the 21st position in the 2020 draft and has since completed a meteoric rise taking advantage of the rebellion by Simmons.
In the 46 games he has played this season, Maxey averages 16.9 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.8 assists in 35.8 minutes.
