English footballer Raheem Sterling is apparently about to move to Chelsea.
Several media reported on Wednesday that the 27-year-old champion will leave Manchester City and join the Londoners around team manager Thomas Tuchel. Sterling’s contract at Manchester runs until the summer of 2023.
The transfer fee is 45 million pounds (about 53 million euros). Sterling has been playing for Man City since 2015 and has won the English championship four times, among other things.
He scored the opening goal in England’s 2-0 win over Germany in the last 16 at last year’s European Championship. He has 19 goals in 77 international matches.
