Motorcycle pilot Stefan Bradl is about to make his comeback in MotoGP. The 32-year-old Zahlinger confirmed at the Italian Grand Prix on Servus TV that he will take over Marc Marquez’s works Honda from next weekend.
Immediately after the race in Mugello, the Spaniard had a fourth operation on his upper arm, which he injured in June 2020. It is unclear how long the 29-year-old Marquez will be out after the operation, which is being carried out in the USA. It is to be feared that the Spaniard will miss the rest of the current season and will only be able to get back on his Honda during the winter tests.
Bradl had repeatedly stepped in for the injured ex-world champion in recent years. So far, the German has made 14 appearances as a Honda reserve pilot.
