Bundesliga bottom SpVgg Greuther Fürth and TSG Hoffenheim have agreed to end Justin Hoogma’s loan early. The central defender switched from TSG to Kleeblatt last summer and played the first four competitive games.
Since then he has not been used due to a knee injury and most recently due to a COVID-19 infection. “We can no longer offer him the prospect of playing time with us for the rest of the loan period,” said Rachid Azzouzi, SpVgg’s sporting director.
Hoogma (23) moves directly from Hoffenheim to the Dutch first division team Heracles Almelo, from where he came to Kraichgau in 2017. He signed a contract until 2026. Before the loan to Fürth, Hoogma also played on loan for FC St. Pauli and FC Utrecht.
