After a fruitful summer in terms of category incorporations, in Chicago there are still no satiated and they have warned in advance of their desire to make some minor movement with the aim of reinforcing themselves for the playoffs.
Journalist Marc Stein has reported that the Bulls recently proposed a barter to San Antonio that would have Jakob Poeltl as its main piece. In exchange, the Illinois offered a first-round draft pick, a proposal that was rejected, as Stein claims.
It has not been revealed which draft this offered round corresponds to, but Stein ventures that it could be Portland’s 2022 first-round pick. East pick it is protected among the first fourteen places until 2028. However, the bad course that the Blazers are following will not allow it to be exercised, at least this year.
On the other hand, previous information indicates that the Bulls would look for a defensive profile that is capable of replacing Patrick Williams, who will be out for the rest of the season due to a wrist injury.
