Chevrot wins, Schuster fourth
Triathlete Paul Schuster narrowly missed the podium at the Ironman European Championships in Frankfurt.
The 33-year-old from Darmstadt finished fourth on Sunday after 3.86 kilometers of swimming, 180.2 kilometers of cycling and the final marathon over 42.195 kilometers.
In the absence of the top stars around three-time world champion Jan Frodeno, Frenchman Denis Chevrot secured the day’s victory.
