Schröder with the Celtics on playoff course

National basketball player Dennis Schröder has won his fourth win in a row with NBA record champions Boston Celtics.

The 28-year-old from Braunschweig contributed ten points, four rebounds and five assists in the 102:92 against the Detroit Pistons. The Celtics moved up to eighth place in the Eastern Conference after their recent form high.

Jayson Tatum was the top scorer with 24 points for the 17-time champion, who led the entire season.

The current winning streak is Boston’s longest this season. Schröder came off the bench to play for 23 minutes.

NBA: Maximilian Kleber’s knee injury

Schröder’s national team colleague Maximilian Kleber dropped out with the Dallas Mavericks for a short time due to a swollen knee.

Without the power forward, the team from Texas won against the Philadelphia 76ers with 107:98 thanks to a strong Luka Doncic (33 points). The Mavs are fifth in the Western Conference and remain on course for the playoffs.

The game was interrupted for 40 minutes in the first quarter because the ring was too loose. Doncic had pointed out the crooked basket to the referees after a converted three.
