Second division soccer club SC Paderborn has to pay a fine of 6,900 euros for misconduct by its fans.
This fine was imposed by the sports court of the German Football Association (DFB). The association jurisdiction punished the ignition of pyrotechnic objects in the last game of last season against Darmstadt 98.
The fines in the past season add up to 7870 euros. The association is asking for your help in order to be able to identify the polluters and take recourse.
“For us, the current penalty is a considerable sum that we could have invested much more sensibly. Such actions are dangerous and the associated fines unnecessary not only in economically difficult times,” emphasized Paderborn’s Managing Director Martin Hornberger.
