Sacramento drops out of race for Ben Simmons

That’s how it is. The Kings have ruled out the possibility of acquiring the services of Ben Simmons and will now focus their efforts on other fronts; reports Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

The decision of the Californian organization, which was among the most active suitors of the Philadelphia player, has come to understand that the price demanded by its potential business partner was too high, which made it impossible to reach a satisfactory agreement for both parties.

Simmons’ withdrawal from the race doesn’t mean Sacramento is going to sit still, though. After five consecutive losses (some very painful) and seeing it more than difficult for another year to reach the playoffs, they seem determined to deeply remodel their squad, having pieces for it such as Buddy Hield (the Lakers are interested), Harrison Barnes or Richaun Holmes.
