According to the Saxon Higher Administrative Court (OVG), the Bundesliga soccer club RB Leipzig has declared the urgent proceedings against the spectator restrictions to be over.
The court announced that this happened after the change in the Corona Emergency Ordinance of the State of Saxony and the approval granted for the admission of 15,000 spectators for the upcoming home games.
The responsible senate will therefore no longer have to decide on the provisional suspension of the regulations.
RB Leipzig had previously announced that 15,000 spectators would be allowed into the stadium for the game against 1. FC Köln (8:30 p.m.) on February 11 under 2G-plus conditions (vaccinated or recovered and tested).
Whether the number of spectators in the Red Bull Arena will be increased to 50 percent (25,000 fans) for the games against San Sebastián (February 17) in the Europa League and SC Freiburg (March 5) will be decided after the Cologne game , RB had announced.
