Bundesliga club RB Leipzig captain Peter Gulacsi is impressed by the work of new coach Domenico Tedesco.
“Domenico thinks very structured, tries to play football offensively and bring a little more control into our game, which is very good for the team,” said the goalkeeper at “DAZN”. The impressions of the first weeks together were “not only sporty, but also very positive on a personal level”.
Defender Willi Orban especially praised Tedesco’s departure from the total pressing game, which ex-coach Jesse Marsch had preferred. “The most successful teams are those that see the game holistically,” said the Hungarian international. “Games are becoming more dynamic. You have to make sure that you have a clear idea in all phases.”
