In the German Ice Hockey League 2 (DEL2), the quotient rule will be applied with immediate effect.
The regulation already agreed in the rules of the game comes into force because no alternative date could be found in the framework schedule for the game between the Tölzer Löwen and the EC Kassel Huskies, which was canceled due to the corona virus.
As a result, the placements in the table are now based on the quotient rule (points from games) with two decimal places. If the quotients of points and goal difference are identical for two teams, the team that has scored more goals per game played is better placed. Then the direct comparison counts.
