Defender Emir Karic from the second division soccer team SV Darmstadt 98 has tested positive for the corona virus.
According to the club, the 24-year-old Austrian has full vaccination protection on Wednesday. He had symptoms on the non-training day, after which he underwent a PCR test.
Karic is therefore out for the second-placed team’s game at FC Ingolstadt on Saturday.
