Portland also seeks the departure of CJ McCollum

After undertaking the transfer of Norman Powell and Robert Covington to the Los Angeles Clippers in a rather debatable move, the management of the Portland Trail Blazers would also be seeking the departure of CJ McCollum, reports Mike Scotto of the media HoopsHype.

It looks like the Blazers are ready for a major rebuild, and except for their top star Damien Lillard, the rest of the players are on the transfer bill.

Among the franchises that would have been interested in McCollum are the New Orleans Pelicans and Dallas Mavericks, according to sources close to the situation.

The shooting guard, who recently recovered from a pneumothorax in his right lung, is averaging 20.6 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.5 assists in 35.4 minutes per game.

Selected by the Blazers themselves in 10th place in the 2013 Draft, with the Oregon franchise he has NBA career figures of 19 points, 3.4 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 31.5 minutes in 563 official games (433 as a starter ).
