Paul George’s injury to the ligaments in his right elbow is going to keep him out of the court longer than expected. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Clippers expect their player to be out for at least two more weeks before his status is re-evaluated.

The forward, who has been out since December 22, is about to meet the 3-4 week deadline that was initially given for him to return to action. Adding a few more weeks, it is not ruled out that he did not return until after the All-Star break.

Without his participation, nor that of a Kawhi Leonard who has not played all season, the Clippers are 5-8, which currently places them in ninth place in the Western Conference with an aggregate of 22-23. We can say that they are still afloat waiting for reinforcements.

The loss of George, and even more so without Kawhi, has been a very hard blow. the veteran small forward he was averaging 27.4 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 5.4 assists until his injury. Covering such numbers with other guys is almost impossible.
