Nuremberg Ice Tigers duo tested positive

Two corona cases in the Nuremberg Ice Tigers from the German Ice Hockey League (DEL): goalkeeper Alex Dubeau and defender Tim Bender tested positive, both professionals are already in domestic isolation. According to the club, Dubeau and Bender are “almost symptom-free”.

Actually, the team should have returned to training on Sunday after two days off, all units up to and including Tuesday have now been cancelled. The away game originally planned for Tuesday at the Iserlohn Roosters had already been canceled due to numerous cases in the Sauerland region.
