NFL: New York Giants sacked head coach Joe Judge

The New York Giants have released their head coach Joe Judge and thus completed the fifth coach release in the National Football League after the last main round match day.

Team President John Mara said he had not seen the necessary progress in the disappointing season with only four wins and 13 losses. The day before, General Manager Dave Gettleman had submitted his resignation.

Before the Giants, the Denver Broncos, Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Bears and Miami Dolphins had ended their work with their head coaches after missing the play-off round. The Jacksonville Jaguars are also looking for a coach for the coming season.
