Next Moukoko shock for BVB

Borussia Dortmund will again have to do without storm jewel Youssoufa Moukoko for several weeks.

The 17-year-old suffered a torn thigh muscle in the away game against FC Augsburg (1-1). “The reintegration into game operations should happen in March,” said BVB.

As a result, Moukoko is likely to miss the German U21s’ European Championship qualifiers against Latvia (March 25) and in Israel (March 29).

In addition to striker Erling Haaland, Moukoko is the second attacker that the Westphalians currently have to do without.

The youngster was out in October with a muscle injury and in November with a torn muscle fiber and an eye infection.

In the Bundesliga he scored his first goal of the season in a 6-0 win over Borussia Mönchengladbach at the end of February.
