The Timberwolves don’t stop. After closing last night one of the transfers of the summer by acquiring the services of Rudy Gobert, they have now finalized an agreement to incorporate Bryn Forbes; reports Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic.
With the arrival of Forbes, the Wolves add outside shooting to their rotation. The 28-year-old guard happens to be one of the best dolls in the current NBA; so much so that in his career (already six seasons) he has a fantastic 41.3% success rate from the three-point line.
For Minnesota it was –and is– a necessity to add outside players and scorers to their rotation, since with the landing of the French center, pieces like Patrick Beverley and Malik Beasley have also come out. Forbes is a good step in that direction, but they need to keep moving. The other contract they have closed so far is Kyle Anderson, who has signed for two seasons and 18 million dollars.
