The Italian football champions AC Milan continue to rely on club legend Paolo Maldini. The 54-year-old’s contract as technical director has been extended by two years, as has sporting director Frederic Massara, Milan said.
“This deal underscores the importance of continuity we see across the club as we continue to strengthen and grow,” the statement said.
Milan record player Maldini started the 2018/19 season as director for strategic development in the field of sport at AC, since 2019 he has been technical director.
He spent his entire professional career at AC Milan from 1984 to 2009, with whom he won the Champions League five times, among other things.
