Again there is alleged trouble at Manchester United. In focus again: Ralf Rangnick, who takes away some of the valuable free time of the apparently unambitious professionals of the English record champions.
After the last-minute win (1-0) in the extremely important duel with West Ham United and the associated jump to fourth place, the mood at Manchester United could actually be exuberant, but apparently some stars have their homework, the team managers Ralf Rangnick gives them home, complains.
According to information from the English “Mirror”, some well-paid professionals from the Red Devils have little desire to look at detailed and, above all, personalized video analyzes of their games. According to the report, Rangnick’s coaching team sends the players home between games via email for them to watch.
These videos can be up to two hours long in total and are garnished with advice and hints on how the players can still improve. But according to “Mirror”, some unnamed stars are not enthusiastic about the fact that they still have to do homework at home.
The additional work is said to cause resentment because the millionaire stars feel restricted in their free time, according to the newspaper.
During the week, “Sport Bild” had already reported that parts of the cabin were acting against Rangnick. Professionals who play little but have a lot of influence should create a mood in the background against the 63-year-old, who will take care of the club until the summer. One trio in particular seems to be targeting Rangnick: Paul Pogba, Edinson Cavani and Anthony Martial.
The latter publicly assumed that Rangnick was lying. Earlier, the coach had said that Martial didn’t want to play and that’s why he wasn’t in the squad. It is not yet known where the truth lies. Either way: Rangnick would like to part with all three players and is pushing for a sale.
