If there is no major surprise, Erling Haaland will leave Borussia Dortmund next summer. According to an agreement, BVB allegedly collects around 75 million euros for the Norwegian, but also has to fill a huge gap in the squad. According to a report, Borussia is planning a two-pronged plan.
The German new international Karim Adeyemi has been a hot contender to succeed Haaland at BVB for months. The 20-year-old is currently lacing up his football shoes in Austria for RB Salzburg and would take the same path if he moved to Dortmund as Haaland, who moved from the Red Bulls to the Ruhr area in early 2020.
The speculation about Adeyemi is also taking hold “El NationalAccording to the Catalan online portal, BVB is considering not relying solely on Adeyemi.
According to a report, the club management of Borussia should also have focused on Luka Jovic from Real Madrid.
BVB interest in Jovic independent of Haaland
The Serb moved to Real Madrid for 60 million euros after a terrific 2018/19 season in the Eintracht Frankfurt shirt (27 goals and seven assists in 48 competitive games), but he was never able to live up to the expectations placed in him.
However, it is questionable whether BVB would dig deep enough into their pockets for Jovic. The 24-year-old is under contract with Real until the end of June 2025, so despite Jovic’s poor performance in the Madrilenians’ shirt, a significant fee should certainly be called.
According to “El Nacional”, BVB’s interest should be independent of whether Haaland might be moving to Madrid, but Real should explore ways to include Jovic in a possible Haaland transfer.
The “imageAccording to Jovic, however, neither in winter nor in summer is an issue at BVB. According to this, the ex-Frankfurter is too small for a center forward and does not fit Dortmund’s style of play.
