LeBron James leads the voting for the All-Star Game

The NBA has published its third count of the votes made by the fans to decide the starters who will play the All-Star Game, which will be held in Cleveland on February 20.

The star of the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron James, leads the voting after surpassing Stephen Curry, from whom more than 800,000 votes separate him right now. Kevin Durant is the third player who has received the most popular support, although his participation is in serious danger after suffering a sprained knee.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Nikola Jokic complete the Top 5 most voted players. A all star game that, if the voting continues like this, it will witness the debut of Ja Morant, who collects more than two and a half million votes.

It should be remembered that the vote of the fans represents 50% of the final weighting to select the starters of the All-Star Game. Players and a media panel contribute 25% each. Fan voting ends on January 22 and the starters will be announced on January 27, while the reserves, selected by NBA head coaches, will be revealed on February 3.
