LaMelo Ball and Dejounte Murray, replacements for the All-Star Game

Charlotte Hornets star LaMelo Ball and standout guard of the San Antonio Spurs, Dejounte Murray, have been chosen as injury replacements for the all star game of 2022, as announced by the NBA itself.

The commissioner of the league, Adam Silver, has selected both to play the main event instead of Kevin Durant and Draymond Green, who will not be able to participate due to injuries.

Both LaMelo and Dejounte debut like this in a all star game. The Hornets base achieves it in his year sophomore, while Murray’s milestone coincides with his sixth season in the NBA. Ball is averaging 19.6 points, 7.5 rebounds and 7.1 assists. For his part, the numbers of the Spurs player rise to 19.6 points, 9.2 rebounds and 8.4 assists.

In this way, the two young players will be present at the meeting to be played in Cleveland on February 20. Other players who were considered for selection include Pascal Siakam, Jarrett Allen, Jrue Holiday, Jaylen Brown, Brandon Ingram, Shai-Gilgeous Alexander, Anthony Edwards, Anthony Davis and Mikal Bridges.
