Leonardo Bonucci got into a fight with an Inter official just before his substitution
Italy’s European soccer champion Leonardo Bonucci has to pay a fine of 10,000 euros for a dispute during the Italian Supercup. This was decided by the Serie A sports court.
The Juventus defender got into an argument with an official of the opposing team in the 2-1 Supercup defeat by Inter Milan on Wednesday evening.
A video showed the two arguing and pushing. The scene happened in extra time just after Inter’s Alexis Sanchez scored a last-minute winning goal. According to media reports, Bonucci was about to be substituted on, but he never made it onto the pitch.
The exact reason for the dispute was not initially known. Inter Milan have been fined €5,000.
