The San Antonio Spurs begin their trip to Las Vegas on Tuesday to participate in the Summer League that will take place there between July 7 and 17. An event that serves, among other things, to witness for the first time the new litter of players from the draft.
However, the Texas franchise will not know if it will be able to count on Jeremy Sochan, who was selected in the ninth position in the recent 2022 draft. According to the media Sports Illustratedthe rookie it is doubt to play in the SummerLeague. Sochan recently tested positive for COVID-19 and has not been available to participate in early training sessions with his teammates.
Mind you, the Spurs won’t be short of players to pay close attention to in Las Vegas, even if Sochan ultimately can’t participate. The roster from the Spurs for the appointment includes Malaki Branham and Blake Wesley, the team’s other two first-round picks. Josh Primo will also be present, on whom there are great future expectations.
In this competition, the San Antonio franchise has four games scheduled against the following rivals: Cleveland Cavaliers (July 8), Golden State Warriors (July 10), Houston Rockets (July 11) and Atlanta Hawks (July 14) .
