HSV professional and Schalke flirt in the sights of Eintracht Frankfurt

In the search for a new six, three candidates have been targeted by Europa League winner Eintracht Frankfurt.

The SBU apparently has a trio in mind, like the “picture“-Zeitung reports. According to this, the Bundesliga club is looking at Schalke flirt Jean Onana, PSG jewel Junior Dina Ebimbe and HSV professional Ludovit Reis. Frankfurt wants to strengthen this summer with a defensive midfielder, it is said.

The SBU has already drawn up a precise requirements profile. The new man should be young and capable of development. He is also said to have leadership qualities so that he can one day follow in Sebastian Rode’s footsteps.

Ludovit Reis is one of the top performers at Hamburger SV. Last season, the 22-year-old Dutchman started 28 times in the second Bundesliga.

Reis’ contract with the Rothosen runs until 2025. Its market value is said to be around three million euros.

Also Schalke 04 on Onana?

The 22-year-old Jean Onana is under contract with the Ligue 1 relegated Girondins Bordeaux, was considered a top performer in the central defensive midfield at the bottom and played 23 league games from the start.

However, Onana’s contract is still dated until 2026. For a release, Bordeaux probably demands at least ten million euros for the Cameroonian international, in which FC Schalke 04 is said to have been interested recently.

PSG jewel candidate at Eintracht Frankfurt

Junior Dina Ebimbe learned to play football at Paris Saint-Germain. In the 2020/2021 season, the youngster gained top-flight experience on loan at FCO Dijon.

Dina Ebimbe was part of the PSG squad again last season and made a total of 14 appearances with the professionals. The 21-year-old Frenchman’s contract with the Sheikh Club is only dated until 2023. “Bild” estimates its market value at five million euros.

Before Frankfurt signs new players, the SBU’s hands are tied. Coach Oliver Glasner recently emphasized that the Hessians will only strike again on the transfer market when departures are certain.

“I assume that if nobody leaves us, we won’t do anything anymore. But I don’t know if we won’t lose someone else,” said the 47-year-old.
