Historic duo: Los Angeles Rams break records thanks to Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp

The 2022 NFL Playoffs have had in Los Angeles Rams one of the maximum animators that can be asked for in the always complicated National Football League (NFL). There are other factors, but part of that success is largely due to Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp.

There are few duos that have performed the way this connection between quarterback and receiver has, not just in the 2021-22 NFL season, but in the entire history of the league. And that productivity has clearly carried over to the Playoffs, with big wins against Cardinals Y Buccaneers.

The numbers support Stafford and Kupp, who after eliminating the set of Tom Brady, they will have their revenge of what their games were against the San Francisco 49ers in the regular season, but this time in the NFC Conference Championship.

Stafford and Kupp numbers

The Los Angeles Rams QB and WR have connected in a good way during the postseason, although Cooper Kupp’s game has not been the totality of what Matthew Stafford has shown in the 2022 NFL Playoffs.

Stafford has so far 568 passing yards, to which he has added four touchdowns, without throwing an interception. Kupp, meanwhile, already officially has the most productive season in history: With 2,191 yards, the Rams receiver surpassed both Jerry Rice (1,965 with the 49ers in 1995) and Larry Fitzgerald (1,977 with the Cardinals in 2008) for the most receiving yards combined in the regular season and playoffs.
