The personnel planning at Bundesliga soccer team Hertha BSC is far from complete. Before possible further external reinforcements, however, the capital club must first reduce its existing squad, as there are currently no fewer than 35 professionals on Hertha’s payroll.

Above all, the old lady is currently trying to get rid of striker Krzysztof Piatek. The Pole is still under long-term contract in Berlin until 2025, costs a whopping 4.5 million euros a year.
In terms of sport, he recently played no role, was loaned to the Italian first division club AC Florence in the second half of the season (three goals in 14 league games). If a buyer is found for the former royal transfer Piatek, he can leave immediately.
The same applies to offensive colleagues Dodi Lukebakio and Javairo Dilrosun. Both are no longer granted a future in Berlin under the new head coach Sandro Schwarz. In the past, they too often lacked the right attitude and defensive diligence – elementary qualities for the new Hertha coach.
