Hertha BSC is just not getting anywhere in the Bundesliga. For months, the capital club has been in acute relegation trouble, sometimes more, sometimes less, and can’t free itself from the bottom third of the table in the long term. Whether there will be additional personnel reinforcements in the next two weeks remains to be seen.
After left-back Fredrik Björkan, only a fairly unknown person was signed in the current winter transfer period, another completion report could soon follow.
According to the portal “fussballtransfers.com” Hertha should agree on a change with Kelian Nsona. In recent weeks, the Berliners have been repeatedly associated with the winger of the French second division club SM Caen.
Now the decision should have been made that the 19-year-old will actually move to Berlin. However, it is still unclear whether Nsona should join the Bundesliga club in January or after the end of the season in the summer.
The fact is that the speed dribbler from France’s second division would not be the emergency aid that would suit the Hertha team so well. The youngster has been suffering from a cruciate ligament rupture suffered in the summer of 2021 for months.
He has not been available at all for his current club this season. In France, however, he is regarded as a promising jewel who has already completed numerous junior international matches.
Hertha BSC: Bobic wants to try “to make one or the other possible”
“We’re trying to make one or the other possible, possibly in anticipation of the summer,” managing director Fredi Bobic was recently quoted as saying in “kicker”.
A transfer promise sounds really different. Bobic knows how difficult the current transfer market is and has repeatedly emphasized that he wants to act economically and responsibly.
Transfer target Nsona is currently in the final stages of his month-long rehab and is expected back in the SM Caen squad in February.
