Harrell and Caldwell-Pope had to be separated at halftime against OKC

According has unveiled the portal The Athletic, Montrezl Harrell and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope were involved in a physical altercation for which they had to be separated. The information indicates that the discussion arose from a reproach by the center to his partner for not passing the ball to him in a play prior to the end of the first part of yesterday’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. This led to a heated verbal exchange that ended in a hitch between the two. Luckily, his teammates were there to prevent things from escalating.

Once in the locker room there was no longer any danger of resuming the fight due to the presence of several members of stadium security. It is unknown if the Wizards will take action on the matter. Both played minutes, even coinciding on the pitch, in the second half of a match that they ended up winning. This is the second year in a row that Caldwell-Pope and Harrell have shared a locker room after spending time with the Lakers last season and being part of the transfer of Russell Westbrook to the Los Angeles franchise.
