Hallescher FC against Türkgücü Munich canceled due to Corona

The game of the 3rd soccer league between Halleschen FC and Türkgücü Munich scheduled for Saturday has been cancelled.

The reason for this is a Türkgücü employee who tested positive for the omicron variant of the corona virus, who also had numerous contacts with players. These have to be quarantined because the Munich Health Department will only implement the new rules for this from Monday.

The game would have been the competitive debut for Halle’s new coach Andre Meyer. In addition, 7,500 spectators should have been present in the host stadium.

The game between Viktoria Berlin and Eintracht Braunschweig planned for Sunday was also cancelled. After a Corona outbreak and the resulting quarantine situation, the hosts have fewer than 16 eligible players available, which is below the minimum limit. The duel between FSV Zwickau and Viktoria Köln had previously been canceled.
