“Grateful to be alive”

Cathy Hummels, well-known TV presenter and influencer and wife of BVB star Mats Hummels, has been brutally attacked. The 34-year-old now reported on the incident that happened several days ago.

Opposite the “image” Hummels described the dramatic moments that took place thousands of kilometers away in Thailand last Saturday.

“I was hit on the head from behind. The perpetrator hit me several times. At some point I realized that this is a matter of life and death and I started to fight back,” said the mother of one son in the newspaper report.

Hummels previously stayed in Thailand for three weeks. Mainly to turn off the new season of the successful RTL II show “Kampf der Realitystars”.

After the end of the filming and shortly before the return trip to the airport, the brutal attack happened. “I wanted to say goodbye to this idyllic place with a walk on the beach. I will certainly never forget this moment,” Hummels is quoted by “Bild”.

Hummels survives the attack unscathed

According to the It-Girl, the attacker stole her smartphone. That’s all she was carrying at the time of the attack. The perpetrator then fled.

“I gathered all my strength and ran back to the hotel. The whole time I was only thinking about my little son Ludwig,” Hummels continued to report about the robbery.

The wife of the Borussia Dortmund defender immediately reported the incident to the police after returning to the hotel. According to the newspaper, the investigation is still ongoing.

The most important news in this context: Cathy Hummels survived the robbery physically unscathed: “My head and body still hurt, but it will be fine, but the shock is very deep, I’m grateful to be alive.”

The TV presenter is currently staying in Dubai.
