Gladbach is said to be interested in Amine Harit

Bundesliga promoted FC Schalke 04 wants to finally get rid of Amine Harit this summer. If you believe a recent report, the district club could now have found a buyer in league competitor Gladbach.

Amine Harit and Schalke 04 are said to part ways again in the coming weeks – and this time forever. The Royal Blues loaned the Moroccan to Ligue 1 club Olympique Marseille last season to save on staff costs.

After all, the 25-year-old is one of the top earners at Schalke and should therefore be turned into money as soon as possible. It is therefore almost impossible for Harit to appear in Gelsenkirchen again, although his contract is still valid until 2024.

Is it up to the Moroccan portal ““Schalke has now found two possible customers. According to this, league competitor Borussia Mönchengladbach is interested in the offensive player. The second option is Real Sociedad from San Sebastián, they say.

Gladbach must advance squad planning

However, whether Borussia is even aiming for a transfer and will make an offer for Harit is probably another matter. When introducing the new head coach Daniel Farke, Gladbach recently made it clear that new signings are only possible in view of the tense financial situation. After all, the Niederrheiner missed the qualification for the international competitions, so that important income is missing.

First of all, the club has to solve its personnel issues in the squad, as numerous contracts expire in the summer of 2023. For top earners like Marcus Thuram or Alassane Pléa, the question arises as to whether now is the right time to sell. Only with the corresponding transfer income could newcomers be committed.

According to “WAZ”, Amine Harit has been released from Schalke’s training operations for the time being in order to simplify the search for a new employer. The attacking player played a total of 34 competitive games for Olympique Marseille last season, in which he scored five goals. For S04 he made 118 games in which he scored 13 goals.
