German duo whistles the final of the handball championship

The German referee duo Robert Schulze and Tobias Tönnies will officiate the final of the European Handball Championship in Hungary and Slovakia on January 30th.

This was announced by the European Handball Federation (EHF) in the Hungarian final in Budapest. After two games each in the preliminary and main rounds, the final is the fifth European Championship appearance for the two Magdeburgers.

Schulze/Tönnies have been whistling at international level since 2012. Last year they were in action in the semi-finals of the World Cup in Egypt and in the bronze game at the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
