Second division soccer club SV Sandhausen is strengthening its relegation battle with two-time Turkish international striker Ahmed Kutucu.
The former Schalke comes on loan from Istanbul Basaksehir until the end of the season. For the champions of 2020 he has only played four competitive games (one goal) since the start of the season.
The 21-year-old is the third SVS entry during the winter break after midfielder Nils Seufert from SpVgg Greuther Fürth and defender Dario Dumic from Twente Enschede.
For the table-16. Sandhausen starts the second part of the season on Sunday (1:30 p.m. / Sky) against Jahn Regensburg.
