FC Schalke 04 before coup: top talent wants to extend

According to the media report, FC Schalke plans to officially announce the contract extension with Aydin next Sunday in the second division home game against Holstein Kiel (from 1:30 p.m.).

In the current season, the homegrown team has made the final breakthrough with the professionals. Aydin has already played 14 games this season for FC Schalke, and head coach Dimitios Grammozis prefers to play at right-back or in right midfield. He scored his first professional goal in the S04 jersey in the 3-0 home win against FC Ingolstadt in October.

Aydin will probably miss the resumption of play in the 2nd Bundesliga at the weekend due to a thigh injury.
