FC Bayern starts secret negotiations because of de Ligt

Now everything could happen very quickly: Apparently Hasan Salihamidzic, head of sport at FC Bayern, made his way to Italy to negotiate with those responsible at Juventus Turin about the transfer of Matthijs de Ligt. Its management is now waiting for results.

FC Bayern’s poker for Matthijs de Ligt’s commitment is in the hot phase. As “Bild” found out, Bayern’s sports director Hasan Salihamidzic flew to Milan on Wednesday. There he is said to have conducted the first serious negotiations with those responsible for Juventus Turin, which have now become public.

Accordingly, the meeting with Juve sports director Federico Cherubini lasted three hours, and the possibility of transferring the Dutch central defender was discussed intensively. Unlike the Italian media, according to “Bild” information, there has not yet been a solid offer for de Ligt. The “Gazzetta” had recently reported on an offer for 75 million euros.

Both at the meeting and in the run-up to it, there was only an exchange of ideas about the respective rough ideas, concrete sums were apparently not an issue. However, there is said to have been a signal from the Juve side that the club is ready to negotiate from 75 million euros.

Transfer to Bayern? De Ligt management blocks other interested parties

The exit clause of 120 million euros anchored in De Ligt’s contract is meanwhile not an issue for either the Italians or the Munich team.

As it goes on, the Juve bosses are now aware that the defender would like to switch to Bayern. One of the main reasons is said to be of a sporting nature: the offensive game of the German record champions suits the 22-year-old.

In addition to Bayern, Chelsea FC were also recently traded as interested in a transfer of the central defender. At the moment, however, the blues will have to be patient.

Because according to the report, the management of de Ligt has currently stopped all talks with other clubs because they are waiting for the results of the negotiations between Juventus and Munich.
