FC Bayern: Richards before moving to the Premier League

Omar Richards hardly played a role at FC Bayern last season. In the summer, the 24-year-old could leave the German record champions again – a club from the Premier League is tempting.

As the “Telegraph” reporter John Percy reports, Richards is about to move to Nottingham Forest.

Accordingly, FC Bayern and the Premier League promoted have agreed on a deal. Munich are probably waving ten million euros for the left-back.

Recently, the newspaper “Het Nieuwsblad” reported that the Belgian first division club Royal Antwerp should try to Richards. However, the speculation did not become concrete.

Richards joined FC Bayern from English second division club Reading FC on a free transfer in the summer of 2021 and was supposed to act as a backup on the defensive flank.

Last season, however, Richards only played 17 competitive games. From the start he was only allowed to run six times.

Richards also traded at VfB Stuttgart

It’s not the first two farewell rumors surrounding Richards. In mid-June, the left foot was also traded at Bundesliga competitor VfB Stuttgart. According to the “kicker”, the Englishman should be a serious option for the Swabians.

“Sky” had already reported that FC Bayern was willing to talk to Richards, and that a loan could also be considered. The full-back has been on an internal strike list since March, according to the TV station.

Nottingham Forest uses in the Bundesliga

Nottingham Forest have already signed two players from the Bundesliga in central defender Moussa Niakhaté from 1. FSV Mainz 05 and striker Taiwo Awoniyi from Union Berling.

The Tricky Trees are also said to have put out feelers to Stuttgart’s Belgian midfielder Orel Mangala.
