FC Bayern: Coman talks about his future

Kingsley Coman has been an integral part of FC Bayern since his winning goal in the 2020 Champions League final. The winger still has a long-term contract in Munich and says he wants to stay with the German record champions for many more years. A French compatriot could soon join them.

At just 26, Kingsley Coman already has a title collection most professional footballers can only dream of. The offensive man won seven championships with FC Bayern, the DFB Cup three times and the Champions League in 2020.

In the premier class final against his ex-club Paris Saint-Germain, Coman scored the winning goal to make it 1-0 and has thus immortalized himself in the history books of the club. But the Frenchman is far from full and would like to play for FC Bayern in the coming seasons.

“I’ve signed here for five years. I’ll be here for a few more years,” Coman said at a press conference as part of the Munich USA trip. The right winger is tied to the club until 2027. Even then, the end of his career was “not reached”, emphasized the pace dribbler.

Phone to FC Bayern? Coman would be happy

Coman has clear goals for the upcoming season: “We have the feeling that we could have done better last year. But we have a strong squad this year and we want to attack.”

Mathys Tel could soon join this squad. According to media reports, FC Bayern is working on signing the attacker from Stade Rennes.

“I heard he’s a very good player, a great talent,” said Coman when asked about the 17-year-old: “And he’s French too – I’d be happy if he came to us,” said the winger “Sport1” quoted.
