ERC Ingolstadt in quarantine after omicron cases

In the German Ice Hockey League, the next team has to go into quarantine. After several corona cases with the Omikron variant at ERC Ingolstadt, the club’s next two DEL games will be cancelled.

The entire team as well as the trainer and support team must go into self-isolation on the orders of the health department. As the Upper Bavarians announced, the DEL games scheduled for Friday against the Adler Mannheim and the DEL games scheduled for Sunday at the Schwenninger Wild Wings cannot take place. The ERC, in coordination with the DEL, wants to “inform you promptly” about catch-up dates.

Most recently, the DEL teams from Red Bull Munich and the Iserlohn Roosters, Grizzlies Wolfsburg and Bietigheim Steelers were in quarantine. Well over 30 catch-up games are still pending.
